Movement for Mental Health: The Resilience Run and Rally

In honour of Lauren O’DONOHUE’15 's late friend, Lauren organized what was to become an annual 5K Resilience Run and Rally. “Bringing UCLA athletes together on the move was extremely positive, so uplifting. Resilience Rally is about ending the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide. It is a global mental health movement that provides affordable therapy, events, resources, workshops and a sense of community to its members.”Read More

On May 28, Stephanie FAUQUIER'07 kicked off Race with Steph with her first of ten triathlons in Victoria, British Columbia - a half ironman. A half ironman is 2km swim, 90 km bike, and 21 km run. -
Isabel LIEBERMAN Langsdorf'56
Isabel LIEBERMAN Langsdorf’56 enjoyed a happy Grade 12 year as a Boarding student at 91¹ú²ú, despite a perilous start in life that nearly ended when she was a toddler. She was born in 1937 in Frankfurt, Germany to a Jewish mother who gave her up for adoption, and spent her first two years in the Jewish Women’s League Home in Neu-Isenburg.

We wish to acknowledge this land on which 91¹ú²ú operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
